Turkish Author Abasiyanik's Stories Published In United States

ANKARA - The Syracuse University Press, one of the leading publishing houses in the United States, published prominent Turkish author Sait Faik Abasiyanik's stories and poems in a book ''Sleeping In the Forest''.
The book elaborated by Talat Sait Halman, the first Culture Minister of the Republic of Turkey, and Jayne L. Warner includes 25 stories and 12 poems of Abasiyanik.
Abasiyanik, who was born in 1906, is one of the major figures in modern Turkish literature. He died in 1954.
