ANKARA - Foreign ministers of Iraq's neighboring countries are expected to meet in Turkish metropolis of Istanbul between April 18th and 19th as a part of the regional initiative on Iraq, in case the efforts to form the new Iraqi government are completed till then, Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
The Ministry stated that this would be the eighth regular meeting of foreign ministers of the said countries.
''This meeting which will bring together the neighbor countries for the first time after the elections held (in Iraq) on January 30th, will also confirm the support of Iraq's neighbors to the democratization process in this country,'' added the Ministry.
