ANKARA - The Federation of International Basketball Associations (FIBA) decided to organize the FIBA Men's Europe League Final Four in Turkish metropolis of Istanbul, Turkish Basketball Federation said on Wednesday.
The Federation noted that also Fenerbahce men's basketball team would play in the final four.
FIBA made this decision thanks to initiatives of the Turkish Basketball Federation and Fenerbahce club, the Federation stated.
According to the information received from the Federation, the final four will tale place at Istanbul's Abdi Ipekci Sports Hall between April 27th and 28th.
On the first day of the tournament, two Russian teams ''Dinamo Saint Petersburg'' and ''BC Khimki'' will challenge with each other while Fenerbahce will take on ''BC Kiev'' of Ukraine.
On the second day, the winners of the semi-finals will vie for the championship in the final.
Earlier, it was announced that the final four would take place in Kiev, Ukraine.
