Edelman: 100 years of Turkish-American friendship is as strong as ever

Speaking at the opening of a photography exhibition called "100 years of Turkish-American friendship", U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Eric Edelman said that the United States attributed great importance to its strategic relations with Turkey.
Following recent press reports on the cold relations between the U.S. and Turkey, Edleman stressed that both nations appreciate the importance of friendly relations and that the exhibition reflected this sentiment.
The exhibition, which opened at the National Library in Ankara, is a collection of 68 photographs about friendship and cooperation between Turkey and America and includes: sports, art, education, music and dance.
