Edelman: U.S. Attributes Great Importance To Its Strategic Relations With Turkey

ANKARA - U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Eric Edelman said on Monday that the United States attributed great importance to its strategic relations with Turkey.
The photograph exhibition ``100 Years of Turkish-American Friendship`` was opened at the National Library in Ankara.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Edelman said that the United States attributed great importance to its strategic relations with Turkey.
Stressing that despite recent news reports in the press, photographs in the exhibition were the signs of the friendship between the two countries, Edelman highlighted importance of friendly relations between the nations.
The exhibition consists of 68 photographs about friendship and cooperation between Turkish and American nations in sports, art, education, music and dance.
