CHICAGO, April 5 (AFP) - Boeing Co. said Tuesday it delivered 70 civil aircraft in the first quarter to March 31, down from 76 a year earlier.
Deliveries included 54 of its next generation 737 model, eight of its long-range 777 aircraft and one 767 and 757 each. It also delivered three 747 jumbo jets and three of the smaller 717 jets, which are being discontinued.
The aerospace giant projects 2005 deliveries of about 320 civilian aircraft.
