ANKARA - International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation, headed by IMF Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam, started meetings in Ankara on Monday.
IMF delegation will meet Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan and Treasury Undersecretary Ibrahim Canakci today.
The delegation will hold technical meetings on updating draft letter of intent within the scope of new stand-by deal.
Officials will take up progress in arrangements on restructuring of banking, social security and income administration issues. They will also discuss 2005 targets which will be revised according to definite macro-economic accounts as well as developments which are expected in the last quarter of 2004, and in 2005.
