ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen has stated today (Sunday) that Turkish exporters are working as hard as bees globally.
In an exclusive interview with the A.A, Tuzmen said that, despite ups and downs, Turkey's exports are increasing continuously.
''In the first three months of 2005, Turkish exports increased by 25 percent compared to the same period last year,'' told Tuzmen.''Our exporters are travelling globally in search of new markets. It is possible to see at least one Turkish businessman or businesswoman in every flight. This is the secret behind Turkey's increases in exports,'' remarked Tuzmen.
Tuzmen indicated that his administration will continue to carry ''export delegations'' to all corners of the world. ''On April 11, we will be going to Bulgaria. In May, a large group of Turkish businessmen will be travelling to Mongolia.''
Turkish business community will participate in over 200 international fairs this year. More than 10,000 Turkish firms will have a chance to display their products in various international fairs in 2005.
