ERZURUM - Turkey earned 6.6 billion USD from exports in March 2005, Oguz Satici, the Chairman of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), said on Friday.
Satici told a press conference that exports from Turkey rose by 25.3 percent in March of 2005 when compared with March of 2004.
According to information given in the press conference, exports from Turkey increased by 26.2 percent, and reached 17.3 billion USD in the first three months of 2005, over to the same period of 2004.
On the other hand, TIM figures indicated that one-year exports from Turkey, covering the period between April 2004 and March 2005, increased by 31.6 percent and reached 67.6 billion USD.
