Erdogan: We Have Not Received Any Official Statement About Start Of Indirect Talks In Cyprus In April

RABAT - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday, ''we have not received any official statement about start of indirect talks in Cyprus in April.''
Prime Minister Erdogan, who is currently paying a state visit to Morocco, held a news conference on the last day of his tour of North Africa.
When recalled by a journalist that the foreign minister of the Greek Cypriot side said that the indirect talks could start in April, Prime Minister Erdogan said, ''we have not received any official statement about start of indirect talks in Cyprus in April. Turkey explained its views after the EU Summit on December 17th. The situation will become clear following the presidential elections in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on April 17th. Republic of Turkey is not the interlocutor of the Greek Cypriot side. Their interlocutor is the TRNC. As a guarantor country, we will continue to support efforts to find a solution.''
