RABAT - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday that there was political will to further improve relations between Turkey and Morocco.
Erdogan remarked that the legal ground would also be prepared for signing of a free trade agreement between the two countries and this would be a road map for entrepreneurs.
Speaking about his visits to Tunisia and Morocco in a news conference in Rabat, Erdogan said that Turkey would enhance its cooperation with Morocco in political, military, economic areas and tourism sector.
Erdogan said that Turkey's trade volume with Tunisia was 350 million USD, its trade volume with Morocco was 435 million USD.
Underlining the fact that Turkey could make cooperation with Tunisia and Morocco also in culture and belief tourism, Erdogan explained the steps taken by Turkey to diversify its tourism sector. The Turkish government wants to make Antalya another 'congress city' after Istanbul, Erdogan said.
Erdogan added that the Moroccan government also proposed to cooperate in sea transportation with Turkey after the start of flights between Istanbul and Casablanca.
