ANKARA - International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation will arrive in Turkey on April 4th to update draft letter of intent on which parties agreed.
Treasury Undersecretariat stated on Wednesday that Turkey and IMF agreed on macroeconomic frame of Turkey`s three-year economic program and draft letter of intent during studies which ended in December 2004 regarding new Stand-by deal.
``Since December, important progress was recorded in structural reforms as well as arrangements on banking and restructuring of social security and income administration,`` said Undersecretariat.
State Minister Ali Babacan invited IMF delegation to Turkey to update draft letter of intent. Meetings will start on April 4th.
