Al-Qaeda linked militant group posts new Iraq execution footage

DUBAI - An Al-Qaeda linked militant group posted videotape on the Internet Tuesday of the execution of three men who said they were Iraqis working for a Jordanian haulage firm under contract to the US military.
The footage posted by the Army of Ansar al-Sunna showed three men "confessing" to work for the "Jordanian Akram Shaheen firm which is contracted for US forces" and expressing "regret" for their actions.
The trio were then taken to an open space where two hooded gunmen, one of them in sports attire, shot them dead.
The Army of Ansar al-Sunna has claimed a string of attacks in Iraq, including murders of foreign hostages and Iraqis accused of "collaborating" with US-led forces.
It has often released video footage of the killings on Islamist websites.
