ATHENS - The body of a Greek fisherman who was reported missing two weeks ago in the Aegean Sea was discovered by authorities in the western Turkish city of Izmir, the Greek Foreign Ministry said Monday.
Following an autopsy, the body was identified by the fisherman's relatives who traveled to Turkey, a Greek diplomatic source told, without giving more details about the death.
On March 15, two Greek fishermen and a Somali national were reported missing off Kalymnos, an island in the southern Aegean near the west coast of Turkey.
According to Athens, their inflatable dinghy was in Turkish waters when it disappeared.
