EDIRNE - Turkish security forces captured 82 foreigners in northwestern city of Edirne as they were trying to proceed to Greece illegally, sources told the A.A on Monday.
The foreigners of Somalian, Mauritanian, Iraqi, Palestinian and Nepalese origin were taken into custody for violating Turkish borders and passport law.
They will be deported once the legal proceedings are completed.
Meanwhile, seven people were arrested in connection with human smuggling.
