BEIRUT - Three Asian workers were injured in an explosion in an industrial area in North-East Beirut Saturday, security sources confirmed.
The sources, speaking to KUNA, said fire-fighters were fighting fire that spreads in some industrial buildings.
Fire-fighters are facing tough job because the workshops in the buildings include flammable materials, said the sources.
The blast, in the Senai'ia area, occured earlier today. The cause is not yet known, but some media suggested a booby-trapped car might cause the blast.
Rubble could be seen in the street and windows of the facades were shattered by the blast.
The Sena'ia is an unpopulated area, in which movement diminishes at night time.
