Hido breaks his left wrist

ORLANDO, Florida - Orlando Magic's Hidayet Turkoglu suffered a broken wrist in the Magic's 102-97 loss to Charlotte on Monday and will be sidelined for the remainder of the National Basketball Association season.
With eight losses in their last nine games, the Magic (32-35) do not appear to be headed for the postseason.
They trail Philadelphia (32-34) for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
But Turkoglu will not be around to help the Magic as his recovery time from his broken left wrist is estimated to be six to eight weeks.
Orlando plays its final regular-season game on April 20.
Turkoglu, 26, had played in all 67 games for the Magic, averaging a career-high 14.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists and leading the team in 3-point shooting (38 percent).
The first Turkish-born player in NBA history, the 6-10 Turkoglu was signed as a free agent by Orlando last July.
