ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc will leave for Poland tomorrow (Tuesday) upon the invitation of Wlodzimierz Cimoscewicz, the Marshal of the Polish Parliament, his office said on Monday.
Arinc's office stated that Arinc will hold a press conference before he fly to Poland.
Arinc will attend a dinner hosted in his honor by the Turkish Embassy in Warsaw tomorrow night.
On Wednesday (March 16th), Arinc will meet his Polish counterpart Cimoscewicz; Zofia Wilczynska, chairperson of the Polish-Turkish Interparliamentary Friendship Group; and Polish Senate Speaker Longin Pastusiak.
Arinc will visit Turkology Department at the Warsaw University, meet representatives of Turkish citizens living in Poland and attend dinner to be hosted in his honor by Cimoscewicz the same day.
On Thursday (March 17th), Arinc will visit several historical and touristic places in Warsaw, meet Polish Prime Minister Marek Belka and Jerzy Jaskiernia, chairman of Polish Parliamentary Foreign Relations Commission and attend dinner hosted in his honor by Turkey's Ambassador to Poland Ecvet Tezcan.
Arinc will return to Turkey after visiting Museum of the Warsaw Uprising on Friday (March 18th).
