SANTA MARIA, California - The teeenage boy who accused Michael Jackson of child molestation admitted Monday telling his former teacher that he had never been molested by the star.
During a grilling by Jackson`s lawyer Thomas Mesereau, the 15-year-old, who last week told graphically how the star had sexually abused him on at least two occasions, conceded that he had told his former teacher that nothing inappropriate had happened between him and Jackson.
"I told (the teacher) he (Jackson) didn`t do anything to me," the soft-spoken but confident youth told Mesreeau as the attorney picked up his cross examination of the boy that he left off Thursday.
US television channel ABC News meawnhile said that prosecutor Thomas Sneddon and Jackson`s attorneys held an emergency meeting with the Los Angeles school teacher on Saturday.
According to the unidentified sources quoted by ABC, the teacher said that the young accuser told him in the spring of 2003 that "nothing had happened between Michael Jackson and him."
The conversation between the boy and the man who taught him when the youth was friends with the pop icon took place after the damaging televison documenatry that led to the child sex probe into Jackson`s relationship with the boy.
