Northern Cyprus Higher Electoral Board Announces Names Of Presidential Candidates

LEFKOSA - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Supreme Electoral Board temporarily announced names of candidates for presidential elections on Saturday.
Names of candidates who will attend the presidential elections in TRNC on April 17th are as follows:
-Mehmet Ali Talat (Prime Minister and leader of Republican Turkish Party)
-Arif Salih Kirdag (independent)
-Zeki Besiktepeli (independent)
-Nuri Cevikel (leader of New Party)
-Zehra Cengiz (candidate of Cyprus Socialist Party)
-Dervis Eroglu (leader of National Unity Party)
-Ayhan Kaymak (independent)
-Mustafa Arabacioglu (secretary general of Democrat Party)
-Huseyin Angolemli (leader of Communal Liberation Party).
The list of candidates will become certain on March 20. TRNC Higher Electoral Board will announce the list on March 21st.
