WASHINGTON D.C. - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) appointed honorary representative in Los Angeles, the United States.
Number of TRNC representatives in the United States increased to three.
Under efforts to lift international isolation of Turkish Cypriot people, TRNC government appointed businessman Mehmet Mustafaoglu as its honorary representative in Los Angeles.
In an interview with the A.A correspondent, Osman Ertug, representative of TRNC in Washington D.C., said that Mustafaoglu, the founder of Trans Global Finance Company, was a successful businessman.
''TRNC does not have an office in Los Angeles. Mustafaoglu will act as honorary representative with his own communication tools,'' he added.
