The central goverment in Iraq has warned the regional administration in the North about oil deals it plans to make with Turkey.
An Iraqi central goverment statement said that without the approval of Bagdad, the regional administration can not seal such agreements with foreign countries.
Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki Office said in the statement that all agreements that are to be signed have to be in line with the laws and constitutions which regulate and define the relations between the Bagdad government and the regional administration.
The statement came after a day of an announcement by the regional government saying that they have agreed a deal with Turkey, which will facilitate oil exportsl to the international markets.
