Christofias Due In T.R.N.C.

LEFKOSA - Demetris Christofias, the president of the Greek Cypriot parliament and the secretary general of the AKEL party, will visit Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) tomorrow (Tuesday) to meet TRNC Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat, Talat's Republican Turkish Party (CTP) said on Monday.
CTP stated that the meeting would be held at the CTP headquarters tomorrow afternoon.
CTP leader and Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat had met leaders of AKEL and Democratic Rally (DISI) in the Greek Cypriot administration before the simultaneous referenda were held in the island on April 24th, 2004. Thus, Talat became the first TRNC prime minister ever crossed the border to southern Cyprus.
