Turkey's Industrial Production Rose By 9.8 Percent In 2004

ANKARA - Turkey's industrial production increased by 9.8 percent in 2004 when compared with 2003, Turkish State Institute of Statistics (SIS) said on Monday.
According to the industrial production index of the last quarter of 2004, the industrial production rose by 4.4 percent in this period when compared with the same quarter of 2003.
The production in mining industry increased by 4 percent, the rise in manufacturing industry was 10.4 percent and it was 6.8 percent in electricity, gas and water industries in 2004.
