Travolta defines cool for London premiere of 'Be Cool'

LONDON - Hollywood idol John Travolta had no problem defining the essence of cool Monday when he attended the British premiere of his new film "Be Cool" at a fan-filled Leicester Square in central London.
"Yesterday we left the house, kissed the kids goodbye, then went into the back yard, got in a (private) jet and flew to London," Travolta confided to reporters. "That was pretty cool."
His wife Kelly Preston added: "He was just born cool -- though he can be a little goofy."
Directed by F. Gary Gray, "Be Cool" -- the sequel to the 1995 gangster comedy "Get Shorty" -- reunites Travolta with Uma Thurman for an homage to their classic dancefloor scene in Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction".
"He's the best dance partner," said Thurman, who was also at Monday's premiere. "The nicest thing about being in the film was being together again. We're old friends and we had a great time together."
"Be Cool" goes on general release in Britain on April 1, after opening last week in the United States where it was the most popular film after the Vin Diesel family comedy "The Pacifier".
