Exports From G.A.P. Region Increase

GAZIANTEP - Exports from Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) region increased 23 percent to 233.2 million U.S. dollars in the first two months of 2005.
Southeast Anatolian Exporters' Association told the A.A on Saturday that they exported 142.4 million U.S. dollars in textiles, 38.7 million U.S. dollars in grain-cereals, 333.2 thousand U.S. dollars in livestock, 18.6 million U.S. dollars in dried fruit, and 33 million U.S. dollars in various other products in the January-February period.
In the same period previous year, the region exported 113.7 million U.S. dollars in textiles, 32.6 million U.S. dollars in grain-cereals, 1.1 million U.S. dollars in livestock, 17.9 million U.S. dollars in dried fruit, and 23.9 million U.S. dollars in various other products.
