Denktas Will Designate Talat To Form New Government

LEFKOSA - President Rauf Denktas of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) said on Friday that he would designate later today Republican Turkish Party (CTP) leader Mehmet Ali Talat to form the new government.
President Denktas arrived at the parliament building to attend oath-taking ceremony of newly elected TRNC deputies.
Upon questions of journalists, President Denktas said that he would designate CTP leader Talat to form the new government.
