KIEV - Russian President Vladimir Putin is to travel to Kiev on March 19 to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yushchenko, Russia's ambassador in Kiev said.
"The date of the meeting between the presidents has been decided and confirmed today," said Viktor Chernomyrdin, quoted by the Interfax-Ukraine news agency, following a meeting with Yushchenko, Ukraine's national security council chief Petro Porochenko and his Russian counterpart Igor Ivanov.
