LONDON - Syria risks being "treated as a pariah" if it fails to withdraw its military forces from Lebanon, British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said Friday.
"They have got this very clear strategic choice," said Straw on BBC radio as the political crisis in Lebanon continued to unfold.
"If they pull forces out in a sensible, swift way, they make a comeback (into the international community). If they don't, they will be treated as a pariah -- not just by the West, but by most of their Arab neighbors."
