Ukraine's ex-minister dead of suicide: ministry

KIEV - Ukraine's former interior minister Yury Kravchenko, who was found dead Friday hours before he was due to be questioned over the grizzly murder of an opposition journalist, had shot himself, a top interior ministry official said.
According to preliminary results, "we can say that it was a suicide," Deputy Interior Minister Petro Koliada was quoted as saying by the Interfax news agency. "It happened in the morning. He died after shooting himself in the head."
