VAN - Turkish gendarmery seized 55.4 kg heroin in an operation in Yuksekova Township in Eastern city of Hakkari, it was reported on Thursday.
The gendarmery teams found the heroin in secret parts of a car and detained one person in connection with the incident.
An investigation is underway.
