MUNICH, Germany - German electronics giant Siemens said Thursday that its information technology services subsidiary SBS had sold its Sinitec unit as part of its turnaround effort.
SBS signed a contract with A and O, a German IT maintenance and repair specialist, to sell Sinitec, which specialises in IT hardware services, Siemens said in a statement.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Sinitec employs a workforce of 1,100.
