Turkish Gendarmery Confiscate 34 Kalashnikov Rifles In Sirnak

SIRNAK - Turkish gendarmery confiscated 34 AK-47 assault rifles (Kalashnikov) in eastern city of Sirnak, sources said on Wednesday.
Sirnak Governor's Office stated that acting on a tip-off, gendarmery stopped two cars in Uludere town of Sirnak, and found 34 Kalashnikov rifles hidden in secret parts of the cars.
The rifles were brought from Iraq, noted the Office.
Gendarmery detained two people in the operation.
