THE HAGUE - The trial of a Dutch Moroccan man accused of murdering Dutch film maker Theo van Gogh will resume on April 13, the Amsterdam court said Wednesday.
The next court date for 26-year-old Mohammed Bouyeri, like the first on January 26, will be procedural, the court said. Bouyer holds both Dutch and Moroccan nationality.
Van Gogh was shot and stabbed while he was riding his bike in Amsterdam last November.
He was widely known for his criticism of Islam and had caused an uproar with a short film linking domestic abuse with the perceived subservient position of women in the Islamic faith.
