Mare Aperto-05 Exercises To Be Carried Out In Mediterranean

ANKARA - The Mare Aperto-05, one of concerted exercises of the Italian Naval Forces Command, will be carried out in the Mediterranean between March 2nd and 15th, Turkish Naval Forces Command said on Monday.
Turkish Naval Forces Command stated that the crisis management and cooperation between the participating naval forces would be put to test during the exercise.
Naval forces of Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, the United States, France, Portugal and Turkey will join the exercises which are also open to all NATO member countries.
