MARDIN - Turkish gendarmery seized 93 firearms in southeastern city of Mardin, sources said on Monday.
Sources indicated that gendarmery forces stopped and searched a lorry in Mardin, and confiscated firearms and lots of ammunition hidden in the lorry.
Two people were detained in connection with the arms trafficking.
On the other hand, one terrorist was killed in an armed clash between the security forces and members of the terrorist organization PKK/Kongra-Gel in Mardin`s Nusaybin town.
