Security Forces Impound 11 Kg Of Heroin In Erdemli

ERDEMLI - Security forces impounded 11 kg of heroin in Cesmeli village in Erdemli town of southern city of Mersin, sources told the A.A on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, security forces stopped and searched an automobile which was on its way from eastern city of Hakkari to Mersin.
They confiscated 11 kg of heroin hidden in secret parts of the vehicle.
Six people including a policeman were detained in the operation.
A full investigation into illicit drug trafficking is under way.
