ISTANBUL - The 23rd International Vehbi Emre Greco-Roman Wrestling Tournament started in Istanbul on Saturday.
A total of 134 wrestlers from 13 countries are participating in the tournament.
In men's 55 kg category, Asset Imanbayev of Kazakhstan was ranked first. Erkan Dundar of Turkey came on the second place while Ino Angelou of Bulgaria and Hayal Hasanov of Azerbaijan were ranked third.
In men's 66 kg category, Roman Gromov of Russia won the gold medal. Nikolay Gergov of Bulgaria was ranked second while Furedy Levente of Hungary and Erkan Ulvan of Turkey came on the third place.
Serkan Ozden of Turkey won the gold medal in men's 84 kg category. Muhammed Yucedag of Turkey came on the second place while Cenk Ildem and Akif Canbas of Turkey were ranked third.
In men's 120 kg category, Mihaly Bardos of Hungary was ranked first. Fatih Bakir of Turkey won the silver medal, and Marek Mukulski of Poland and Yekta Yilmaz Gul won the bronze medal.
