Police say they stopped an attempted arson attack at the Turkish consulate on Greece’s island of Rhodes.
A police officer suffered light injuries after a man threw a small gasoline-filled container into the courtyard of the Rhodes Town building around 5 a.m. Friday.
It wasn’t exactly clear how the fire was sparked, but the island’s police department says the officer was injured while putting out the flames.
No one else was hurt and no one was arrested.
