Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of the UN World Tourism Organization (WTO), yesterday stated that the number of tourists visiting Turkey has increased by approximately 9 percent to reach 30 million in 2011, when compared to 2010.
Rifai said that Turkey has become one of success stories in tourism, as well as a leading destination worldwide thanks to its growth in the last five-seven years.
Rifai also defined Turkey as a country which incorporates Eastern sprit in its tourism and furnishes highest-quality services throughout Europe.
