ANKARA - Ankara will have a busy diplomacy traffic in the following days and weeks, it was reported on Wednesday.
Ankara will host Latvian Foreign Minister Artis Pabriks tomorrow (Thursday) and Nicolas Schmit, representative of the Luxembourg Presidency of the EU, and the Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs & Immigration, between February 27th and 28th.
EU Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn will be the first guest of Ankara in March. Rehn is expected to be in Turkey on March 6th. Turkey-EU troika will convene at the ministerial level in Ankara on March 7th.
Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Salome Zourabichvili will visit Turkey between March 9th and 10th.
Micheline Calmy-Rey, Chief of Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs is expected to visit Turkey between March 28th and 30th. Argentine Minister of Foreign Relations, International Trade & Worship Rafael Bielsa will pay a visit to Turkey between March 28th and 31st.
Meanwhile it was reported that Turkish Foreign Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul is scheduled to visit Britain between March 11th and 14th to have bilateral meetings, and Belgium between March 22nd and 23rd to attend EU interim summit.
