Sabah- ``One of the main topics under discussion in Turkey is the tension between Turkey and the U.S. and its repercussions on the internal policy``, writes Asli Aydintasbas, a columnist of ``Sabah`` daily.
In her article, Aydintasbas writes, ``in my opinion, (our) relations with the United States are not in a level that `can`t be mended`. Despite all these (developments), Ankara is still an important ally that Washington can`t sacrifice. Although the `flirt` with the AKP (ruling Justice & Development Party) has ended in the U.S. capital, this does not mean that the Americans have `hit the button` as some conspirators are claiming in Turkey. Anyway, they (the USA) don`t have such a power.``
