Lebanon says at least 18 killed in attack against Hariri

BEIRUT, Feb 21 (AFP) - The number of people killed in the huge Beirut bomb blast that claimed the life of Lebanese ex-prime minister Rafiq Hariri has risen to at least 18, sources involved in the inquiry said Monday.
They said the body of a Lebanese man was discovered under a charred shell of a car at the site of the February 14 blast on the Beirut seafront. His body remained unidentified, along with that of one other victim.
Another person was still missing.
Fifteen people including Hariri and seven of his bodyguards were killed on the day and another two died later of their injuries. About 220 people were wounded in the blast.
On Monday, some 40 people were still being treated in Beirut hospitals, the Lebanese satellite channel LBCI reported. Former minister Bassel Fleyhan was badly wounded in the explosion and has been hospitalised in France.
