US soldier killed in Mosul

BAGHDAD, Feb 21 (AFP) - A US soldier was killed Saturday in the restive northern Iraqi city of Mosul, the US military said Monday.
"One Task Force Freedom soldier was killed by small arms fire in Mosul February 19," a statement said.
The death brings to 1,469 the number of US military personnel killed in Iraq since the US-led invasion of March, 2003.
