Replying to a question at a television program on news channel NTV, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz said that oil and natural gas exploration would be conducted offshore Mersin and Iskenderun.
Yildiz said agreement signed by Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Turkish Petroleum Corp. (TPAO) was an important one in international energy area.
