ANKARA - The new chief of International Monetary Fund (IMF) Turkey mission is expected to take over the post after the new stand-by arrangement between Turkey and the Fund is put into force, sources said on Monday.
Sources told the A.A correspondent that an IMF expert of Italian origin was expected to replace Reza Moghadam, who had been serving as the IMF Turkey Mission Chief since 2003.
On the other hand, the IMF is expected to carry out 11 reviews within the scope of the new stand-by deal which envisages a loan of 10 billion U.S. dollars for Turkey.
Three of these reviews will be conducted this year, four in 2006 and three in 2007.
