BEIRUT, Feb 18 (AFP) - Lebanon's Tourism Minister Farid al-Khazen resigned Friday amid mounting calls for the entire government to resign following the killing of former prime minister Rafiq Hariri.
Lebanon's anti-Syria opposition has accused the government and its political masters in Damascus of having a hand in the bomb blast that killed Hariri and 14 other people in Beirut on Monday.
Khazen said in a statement his decision was "in line with my convictions and out of an obligation to the nation."
