ANKARA - The Constitutional Court rejected on Thursday a request about the suspension of the implementation of the law envisaging the transfer of the Social Security Agency (SSK) hospitals to the Ministry of Health.
Constitutional Court Deputy Chief Judge Hasim Kilic said that the court, with majority of vote, rejected the request of the Republican People's Party (CHP) for suspension of the implementation of the law.
Kilic said that after the rapporteur prepared a report, the court would debate the request for cancellation of the law.
Upon a question, Kilic noted that SSK hospitals could be transferred to the Ministry of Health as of February 19th.
