TIRANA, Feb 15 (AFP) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Albania on Tuesday at the start of an official visit to the Balkans, a government spokesman said.
"Mr Erdogan is expected to discuss with Albanian authorities bilateral relations between Albania and Turkey as well as stability in the Balkans," Albanian government spokesman Aldrin Dalipi said.
During the two-day visit Erdogan is expected to meet his Albanian counterpart, Fatos Nano, plus President Alfred Moisiu and parliament speaker Servet Pellumbi.
Representatives of the two countries are also expected to sign an accord on maritime and air transport, as well as to discuss possibilities for economic cooperation and Turkish investment in Albania.
