TARSUS - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Rauf Denktas has stated that no concessions should be made on the TRNC by the Turkish government upon assistance from the IMF and EU.
Participating in a seminar at Mersin`s Cag University, Denktas said that there are countries that look like Turkey`s friend but actually carry different motives.
``Turkey is a strong republic. Therefore, no concessions should be made on the TRNC upon assistance from the IMF and EU,`` told Denktas.
According to Denktas, the media has a prominent responsibility in informing the Europeans on the Cyprus matter.
